Hello there, Growing Up on the Spectrum fam!
It's been a few weeks since we updated you, and we want to first thank you for your patience! 🙏 We know you're excited to get your copies of Growing Up on the Spectrum, and we're just as excited to get them to you very soon!
Our workflow has been a little touch-and-go the past month, as the Oneshi Press and Shadowcast Studio crews both spent four days at MisCon last month. Then Tess headed out for Okii Sora Con last week. In between all that, we've been ordering all our stickers, keychains, art prints, tattoos, and other rewards…and planning our epic book launch party for next month! 💪
It's been busy! 😮💨
But we're nearly ready to ship these gorgeous books to you, so we need to make sure your address is up-to-date! 📧
So here's the TL;DR version of this post:
We've just hit the "Lock Addresses" button in BackerKit, which means that you have two days to make sure the address you gave us is still accurate! ⌛
If you've moved since the end of February, you'll need to update the address you've got on file! We don't want your book to end up at the wrong address!
In the meantime, stay tuned! Progress continues on the audiobook and the animatic, and shipping starts soon!

Book Launch Party + Fulfillment Has Begun (But Not Finished)!

1) We're Throwing an IRL Book Launch Party!

Why: Celebrate neurodiversity and autistic-led creativity, meet the author, get your book signed, eat snacks, and grab a drink!
FREE ENTRY, snacks, and a quiet space for the overstimulated are all guaranteed! Can't wait to see you there!

2) The Books Are Signed and Sealed!
We had a little gathering at the Oneshi Press HQ over the weekend, where together with Tess, Court, and Nora, we prepped about 100 copies of Growing Up on the Spectrum! 📚
Nora opened the books, Tess signed them, Court fanned the signatures dry, and Lynsey stacked them while Jayel prepped our Kickstarter-exclusive gold foil seals. Then we all applied the seals to the title pages. 💪
A good time was had by all! (Except for Tess's wrist. That's a lot of signatures!) 🖋️
Next, we'll arrange all the rewards you've ordered, re-assemble our crack team of helpers, and start packing up your books, stickers, art prints, postcards, bookmarks, key chains, and more! 📦
3) Tess Is Recording the Audiobook!
Tess has been sharing her progress on recording the audiobook version of Growing Up on the Spectrum. 🎙️ And honestly? It sounds awesome!
We can't wait to share it with you when it's all edited and ready! 🎧

"Growing Up on the Spectrum" Is Here!

They've arrived!
Our hard copies of Growing Up on the Spectrum got here yesterday—all 700 pounds of them!
We had to share a few photos of the process…
…including Tess getting her first look at the graphic novel she's spent the last decade working on. 🫨
It's absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. 🤩
We can't wait to get it into your hands!
It will be a few weeks until these beautiful babies ship.
Our biggest event of the year—the four-day 40th anniversary weekend of MisCon—is coming up later this week. 🎪 Tess has to sign literally hundreds of copies of Growing Up on the Spectrum. ✒️ Jayel and Lynsey need to apply Kickstarter-exclusive gold seals to hundreds more. 🪙
After that, we'll sort, pack, and finally ship. 📦 It will be quite a process!
But that process starts right now, and we are so stoked to give you a few peeks behind the scenes! We promise to keep you posted on every step we take. 🤝

Hello there, Growing Up on the Spectrum backers!
We received some behind-the-scenes photos from our printer of Growing Up on the Spectrum being manufactured! 
Our printer, Color Vision, is just as excited as we are about Growing Up on the Spectrum, so they showed us what the printing process looks like.
It's rare in the printing and publishing industry to receive the inside scoop from a manufacturer, and these photos are proof that this bookis making a splash everywhere it goes!
Just look at those gorgeous, crisp pages and shiny exteriors! We love it! And we thought you might enjoy a peek at what printing a graphic novel looks like, too.
We expect these to be shipped to us as soon as they're assembled, and then they'll be on their way to you, backers!

Here's the latest update on Growing Up on the Spectrum! 📰
The printed copies of Growing Up on the Spectrum are being printed right now, and we project that they will ship to us by early next week.
There are a lot of books going into production—more than we've ever printed before for a book of this size! So it's going to be a process.
In the meantime, we absolutely could not wait to show off the STICKERS that just arrived an Oneshi Press HQ! 🤩
