Here's the latest update on Growing Up on the Spectrum! 📰
The printed copies of Growing Up on the Spectrum are being printed right now, and we project that they will ship to us by early next week.
There are a lot of books going into production—more than we've ever printed before for a book of this size! So it's going to be a process.
In the meantime, we absolutely could not wait to show off the STICKERS that just arrived an Oneshi Press HQ! 🤩

A Fulfillment Update

Hello, Growing Up on the Spectrum backers!
We're writing with a quick update on our fulfillment schedule:
1) Ordering Printed Books! 📚
It takes a while to get a finalized book of this length together, but we're pleased to say that after creating the new pages you unlocked during the campaign, discussing printing possibilities with our production liaison, and making a few final decisions, the book will be off to the printer this week!
That means we should have the books in hand in late May or early June, depending on how quickly they can be produced and shipped to us. We will let you know when they arrive, along with some mouth-watering photos of the books themselves!
2) Audiobook in Production! 🎧
The script for the audiobook has been approved, and recording will commence this week! Then we'll send the audio files off to an editor for cleaning up. We expect to have the audiobook ready to send out by mid-June.
3) Animatic Up Next! 👀
The animatic version of Growing Up on the Spectrum will begin production as soon as the recording of the audiobook is completed. This one will take a bit longer to put together, as animation of any kind is a time-consuming process. But fear not! We will keep you informed as we move forward.
4) Stickers ordered! 🧠
We placed our orders for stickers and temporary tattoos last week and expect them to arrive in the next two weeks! We can't wait to see these lovelies in person, and we'll proudly share photos when they arrive.

*When we say "most," we mean all digital rewards except for the GUTS audiobook, animatic, and audio commentary. Those three rewards will take somewhat longer to put together, but make no mistake: we're getting them all done as fast as we can, while still making sure they're of the highest quality.

In honor of all those who backed at high levels and/or added a donation on to their pledge, we've donated $5 per person to the fight against glioblastoma. Commonly known as glioblastoma multiforme or GBM, glioblastoma is a highly malignant form of cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord.
The donation was made in honor of Lisa Langston, Tess's mother, who sadly passed away due to glioblastoma around the time Tess began working on Growing Up on the Spectrum.
We believe it's important to direct attention and funding to researching diseases that hurt people. Real diseases! Autism is a difference—not a disease.

Locking Orders + Editing Our Hearts Out!

Hey, folks!
We're so excited to check in with you, because we have great news!
We're nearly done editing the main version of Growing Up on the Spectrum, and we hope to have the digital version out later this month…which is Autism Awareness Month!
High-fives all around! 🙌
In the meantime, we are locking BackerKit orders so that we can finalize item counts and start the production process for things like art prints, keychains, stickers, and more. 🔐
Orders will be locked down in 48 hours (that's Wednesday evening, for those of you in the Western Hemisphere, and early Thursday for those of you in the Eastern Hemisphere). So now's a great time to double-check that you got everything you wanted, entered the correct credit card information, and filled out your survey the way you wanted to!
